The Comfort Pod liner system uses an articulated pod design to conform to the shape of your head for enhanced comfort, along with a layered construction of IX and XRD foam for high- and low-energy impacts. Lightweight VTX foam also helps protect against impacts all around. Experts say concussions are primarily caused by the acceleration or deceleration of the brain, and helmets may not prevent concussions caused by these forces.
